I had great results with CBD alone treating chronic pain & depression. So good, in fact, that I was able to lower my morphine dose on my own.
That being said, when I started adding THC (Phoenix Tears) to the mix in everything I make (topicals, edibles, suppositories, microdosing drops etc), I had even better results.
My work with herbs & essential oils over many years then got me thinking about whole plant medicine always being the most effective, which is why I began experimenting with different cannabis extracts other than THC. The results I've gotten are phenomenal, to say the least. They are the only things that got me from a point of pain causing me to be suicidal to the point I am now - functional. That alone has saved my life.
I'd suggest trying to mix your CBD with THC & see if it makes any difference for you. Try microdosing if being stoned all day isn't your thing, like me. I buy pure CBD concentrate in oil form (it's like a very thick, resinous tar) and Phoenix Tears (same consistency), along with CBN extract (incredible for anxiety!).
I mix about 25ml of slightly warmed, cold pressed hemp seed oil with my extracts & shake the $#*! out of it, about 1/3 of a gram of each extract (don't use the microwave to warm up, hot water bath only). That mixture lasts me for a good month, 4-6 doses per day, about 6 drops each dose under the tongue. I carry it with me everywhere. When I'm feeling I need more, I up the dose slightly. It's discreet in a little squeeze dropper bottle, cheaper than buying premade stuff from dispensaries, and you know for sure what you're ingesting. I've given bottles to family & friends who have had great results as well.
