Denver, CO. It has been an amazing transition. I voted both for medicinal and then rec. Our city has changed so much as a result. Economic surpluses, thriving job force, etc. All good stuff.
With that comes the other side... Bummer kind of stuff....Traffic, Denver doesn't have the infrastructure for this many people coming in. Our freeways are almost like California, our mountains are getting trashed, overpopulated and since, has become a "brand."
I am happy for the people that now have safe access to medicine and I am bummed at the toll it is taking on Colorado. I grew up in Denver and I miss what it was like pre-legalization. Part of life.
Though we have more dispensaries than Starbucks in Denver metro, the stigma still bellows. It still lingers...
We are blessed to have access to medicine and I feel so lucky to be able to treat my ailments with cannabis.
I just don't understand...( I do ) greed, money, big pharma, politics, racism... All because of a plant.
Cannabis is miracle plant. Keep climbing. The more we fight the better.
